On behalf of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, I would like to welcome you to the International Regional Rail Business Forum “1520 Strategic Partnership: the Caucasus Region”.
This Forum is an important milestone in the region’s rail transport development. The event is vital because of the need to develop transport infrastructure in the region and work out steps to make the North – South Transport Corridor more efficient and increase its transit capacity. Furthermore, the Forum will buttress cooperation among partner nations and make the countries of the region more prominent in the international arena.
I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate Azerbaijan Railways, the Forum’s General Partner, on its 130th anniversary. I wish the entire team health, happiness and success and hope that they will actively continue their constructive work.
