Port of Tallinn – Strategic partner of II International Regional Railway Business Forum "1520 Strategic Partnership: Baltic Region"

Port of Tallinn made a decision to be a strategic partner of the II International Regional Railway Business Forum "1520 Strategic Partnership: Baltic Region" thereby assessing its high relevance for the Baltic region.

Forum will be held from 8 to 10 February 2010 in Tallinn (Estonia) at Swissotel Tallinn. General International Partner: Russian Railways. General Partner: Eesti Raudtee (Estonian Railways).

II International Regional Railway business forum "Strategic Partnership 1520: Baltic Region" aims to discuss the most pressing problems facing the transport and logistics complex of European Economic outpost "Space 1520". As a major transit point and a key element of the Eurasian Economic Cooperation, the Baltic region is very interesting for all partners in the “broad” gauge.

Heads of the railway companies of "Space 1520" and European government authorities, leaders of international associations and unions, senior managers and business owners, leading experts railroad industry and representatives of financial institutions will take part in II International Regional Railway business forum "Strategic Partnership 1520: Baltic Region".


Port of Tallinn - the largest commercial and passenger port in Estonia. Port of Tallinn is also one of the major ports in the Baltic Sea, the sum of the same volume of freight and passenger traffic it is about the largest port in the region. The port serves a significant part of Russia and other CIS countries shippers, offering them opportunities for operational and quality handling of their terminals and maintenance of vessels at its deep water berths.
