In 1983 graduated from the Mozhayskiy Military Engineering Institute with a degree in radio systems of space complexes.Since 1985 he served at the chair of space radio systems and the research and design laboratory of the Mozhayskiy Military Space Engineering Academy. In 1988 defended his Candidate of Engineering thesis in Interference immunity of space radio data communication channels. In 1999 he was awarded the degree of Doctor of Engineering for a thesis in data management in multi-satellite low-orbit network systems.
He has an academic title of professor. Since 2000 worked as Deputy Director of the St. Petersburg branch of State unitary enterprise. Certification center of Zheldorinformzaschita MPS of Russia. In 2001 he became Chief Designer of the information security system of Russian Ministry of Railways. From 2002 till 2003 he worked as Head of Information Protection Department in State enterprise Economic Security Directorate. From 2003 to 2006 worked as Deputy Director of RZD’s Security Department. From 2006 to 2007 he worked in capacity of Director of State unitary enterprise Russian Research and Design Institute for Information, Automation and Communication of Russian Ministry of Railways (VNIIAS MPS of Russia). From 2007 till April 2011 worked as Director General of Joint Stock Company Russian Research and Design Institute for Information, Automation and Communication on Railway Transport (JSC NIIAS).In April 2011 was appointed First Deputy Director General of JSC NIIAS.Mr. Adadurov is an author of over 100 research and methodological publications.

From 2002 to 2003, he was Deputy Minister of Railways of the Russian Federation.
In 2003–2004, he was First Deputy Minister of Railways of the Russian Federation.
From March 2004 to November 2005, he was Head of the Federal Agency for Railway Transport of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation.
In November 2005, he was appointed Vice-President of RZD.
In May 2009, he was appointed Vice-President and Managing Director of the Federal Passenger Directorate.
Since April 2010, he has been Vice-President and General Director of the Federal Passenger Company.

Bernard Gonnet is an accountancy graduate from the University of Lyon, and began his career in 1973 with Berliet. After a number of posts, including with Renault VI in their accounting and financial auditing departments (1982) and their product cost monitoring department (1985), he became Director of financial auditing for Renault VI in 1992. He was then appointed Director of Renault VI’s and Mack Truck’s medium duty range (1995), and then Director of spare parts in 2000. He was appointed Director of after-sales and services in January 2001, then product and strategy Director for Renault VI in April 2002, and became a member of the executive committee.
Bernard Gonnet joined Alstom Transport in summer 2005 as Director of the Impact project. In 2006, he was appointed Product and Strategy Director. Between March and August 2010, he served as Vice President of Strategy Operations.
On 1 September 2010, Bernard Gonnet was appointed Managing Director Russia and CIS (Russia, Belarus, the Ukraine, the Caucasus, Central Asia, etc.).

After having graduated from highschool, Grundmann went on to study physics at the Humboldt University in Berlin and earned his PhD in natural sciences at the German Academy of Sciences. Dr. Grundmann started his career in 1981 as scientist at the Institute for Cosmos Research. Ten years later, he switched to AEG Postautomation GmbH in Constance where he worked as project manager in the field of optical character recognition. In 1995, he became head of development in the reading and coding systems sector. When these business activities were taken over by Siemens AG, Dr Grundmann was appointed head of the Reading and Coding Division in the Production and Logistics Systems Group in 1997. 2001 through 2004, acted as spokesperson for the board of Siemens Dematic AG, postal automation sector. Then, as head of the Postal Automation Group within Siemens Logistics and Assembly Systems, he was elected to the board in 2004. From 2005 up to his nomination as CEO of the Mobility Division in January 2008, Dr. Grundmann served as Vice President of the Siemens Industrial Solutions and Services Group (I&S). In 2008, Dr. Grundman was elected Chairman of UNIFE (the European Rail Industry) and will serve a three-year term. He succeeds André Navarri (Bombardier Transportation) as UNIFE Chairman. In 2008, Dr Hans-Jörg Grundmann has been Chief Executive Officer of Siemens AG.

A graduate of Moscow State Law Academy, Dr. Ivanov received his Ph.D. in Law from the Institute of State and Law, Russian Academy of Sciences. He also received his master’ in law from the Goethe University Frankfurt am Main.
Dr. Ivanov has been working at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer since 1994, having spent 1996 and 1997 in the firm’s Frankfurt office. He is currently a partner of the Moscow branch, where he heads the firm’s Russian practice for infrastructure and transport. He specialises in corporate law and project financing. He is vastly experienced in consulting Russian and foreign clients on mergers and acquisitions, founding joint companies, the securities market and corporate management, including public servant responsibility. He has for a few years now been in charge of customer service for the state sector and provides consultations on various different corporate issues regarding contracts with foreign business partners, stock market transactions, attracting financing and infrastructure projects. As a leader of the firm’s infrastructure practice in Russia, Dr. Ivanov has participated in structuring and implementing many significant projects, including ones based on public private partnership in transportation infrastructure, energy, utilities and other spheres. He is active in developing respective federal and regional regulatory framework, and is a member of the Expert Council on Public Private Partnership Legislation for the State Dume Committee on Economic Policy and Entrepreneurship. Among other things, Dr. Ivanov has worked on drafting the bill on “St. Petersburg Participating in Public Private Partnerships,” which currently serves as the legislative framework for a number of projects in St. Petersburg.

In 1966 he graduated from the physical-mathematical department of Rostov State University. In 1966 - 1969 he was engineer of scientific-research institute of automation of industrial enterprises. Since 1970 he worked at Rostov State Transport University. He completed the path from assistant of the department of physics up to rector of the university. In 1975 he defended the PhD thesis. In 1987 he became the Doctor of technical sciences. In 1989 he was elected as people’s Deputy of Soviet Union – the Chairman of the subcommittee “The Railway Transport” of the Supreme Soviet of USSR. Since 1991 was corresponding member of Russian Academy of Sciences. In 1992 he graduated from the Academy of national economy of the Government of Russian Federation. From 1998 till 2008 he was the Deputy of the Legislative Assembly of Rostov Region. He was the Chairman of the credentials committee, the Chairman of the subcommittee for relations with political parties and social associations, interregional and international parliamentary commonwealth. Since 2003 he is academician of Russian Academy of Sciences (the division of power engineering, mechanic engineering, mechanics and control processes, category “Engineering, transport”). He is Honored scientist of the Russian Federation, Chairman of Supreme Accreditation Committee of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia (transport section), “The Honored engineering worker”, “The Honored railwayman”. Сreated the scientific school of tribology at Rostov State Transport University, which has successful relations with other Russian and international research centers.

After graduating with distinction from the mechanical faculty of MIIT in 1971, specialising in locomotive building, he worked as an expert, then senior expert, head of group, then deputy head of the transport department at the Russian Scientific Research Institute for State Patent Examination (VNIIGPE) of the USSR State Committee for Inventions and Discoveries (Goskomizobreteniy). In 1977–1979 he served in the railway armed forces engaged in building the eastern sector of the Baikal – Amur Railway. In 1979 – 1985 he was assistant to the First Deputy Chairman of Goskomizobreteniy, then deputy head of the Goskomizobreteniy department for examining inventions. In 1985 – 1996 he was first deputy director, then director, of VNIIGPE. From 1996 to 2004 he was general director of the Russian Agency for Patents and Trademarks, and from 2004 to 2009 he was deputy head of the Federal Service for Intellectual Property, Patents and Trademarks. In June 2009 he became head of the Centre for Innovative Development, a subsidiary of RZD. He is a Candidate of Economic Sciences, a graduate of the Central Institute for Advanced Studies by Leading Workers and Economic Specialists in Patent Work and of the USSR Academy of National Economy under the USSR Council of Ministers, and is the author of more than 170 published scientific works on issues concerning the theory and practice of the legal protection, defence and commercialisation of the results of intellectual activity. He is an Academician of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences and is a Distinguished Engineer of Russia. He has government awards and has been awarded the Gold Medal of the World Intellectual Property Organisation (Geneva, Switzerland).

Mr Lapidus was Vice-President in 2003 and has been Senior Vice-President of JSC Russian Railways since 2005. He is a merited economist of Russia.
In 2010 he was appointed Chairman of JSC Russian Railway´s Joint Academic Council, as well as President and CEO of the All-Russian Scientific Research Institute of Railway Transport.

Graduated from the Moscow electrotechnical school in 1968 and from the Moscow Institute of Railway Engineers, where majored in automatics and telematics, in 1973, Boris defended two successive research theses in 1979 and 1990, thus becoming a PhD in management. Professor since 1992. In 1991, he was appointed Provost of the All-Russian Railway Manager Excellence School, transformed into the Russian Railway Academy pursuant to the Russian President’s decree in 1995. In 1997 he was elected Provost of the Moscow State Railway University. Mr. Lyovin is the Vice President of the Russian Community of Railway Engineers, the chairman of the dissertation council, the President of the Association of Railway Universities, the chairman of the training and methodical commission for railway transport reformation, a deputy chairman of the research and technical council of the Railway Ministry, a member of the Supreme Certification Commission of Russia and an acting member of a number of Russian and foreign academies. Studied at the Moscow Institute of Railway Transport Engineers.
Between 1979 and 1993, she was a trainee researcher, an engineer, a junior researcher, and a researcher at the Ministry of Railways’ All-Russian Railway Research Institute (VNIIZHD). Between 1993 and 1997, she was chief economist, deputy head of department, and head of the currency and tariffs committee department of the Russian Ministry of Railways, in Moscow. From 1997 to 2004, she was head of the department of freight tariffs on export, import and transit freight at the Russian Ministry of Railways’ Centre for Corporate Transport Services, in Moscow. From 2004 to 2010, she was deputy head of the Railway Regulation Directorate at the Russian Federal Tariff Service. Since 2010, she has been deputy head of the Federal Tariff Service.
She holds the title of Distinguished Economist of the Russian Federation.

From 1991 to 1997, he was a bridge foreman on the Leningrad – Moscow test section of the October railway.
In 1997, he was a bridge foreman for maintenance, track repairs and engineering structures on the St Petersburg Finnish section of the October railway.
From 1997 to 1999, he was chief engineer on the St Petersburg Finnish section of the October railway.
From 1999 to 2000, he was chief engineer of the St Petersburg Passenger Services Directorate on TRANSKOM Group’s suburban routes of the October railway.
From 2000 to 2001, he was Deputy Head of the engineering structures division on the Leningrad – Moscow test section of the October railway.
From 2001 to 2004, he was Deputy General Director of transport construction for EUROSTROY.
From 2004 to 2005, he was General Director of EURODORSTROY.

Oleg TONI

Graduated from the Voronezh Engineering and Construction Institute.
He began his career in 1986 as a Master at the Construction and Assembly Board of Construction in Voronezh and then worked as a foreman, section head and head of the production department in the Construction Board of the Leningrad Production, Construction and Assembly Association, as Technical Director of Construction Board Nr. 228, Managing Director of the Baltic Construction Company Nr. 4 in St. Petersburg and Managing Director of the Baltic Construction Company in Moscow. In March 2004, Toni was appointed first deputy head and in September 2004 head of the Department of Capital Construction at Russian Railways. He has been a Member of the Board of Russian Railways since August 2005. In April 2006 he was appointed Vice-President at Russian Railways. Tone received State awards for service.

Etienne Tricaud started out as a structural engineer in 1985 in the design office of Ove Arup & Partners in London and RFR in Paris. He contributed, among other things, to the study of numerous glass and steel structures, including the glass roofs covering courtyards in the Louvre. For some years he also taught structural design to future architects at the Paris la Seine School of Architecture.
He founded AREP with Jean-Marie Duthilleul AREP in 1997, and became its Chief Executive Officer. A portfolio of international projects have helped Etienne Tricaud to further refine his design approach in new environments, notably thanks to partnerships with other designers. In return, he can use this experience to enrich the agency by nurturing it with the range of issues encountered.

His project and infrastructure finance advisory experience includes most of Russian concession and PPP projects. Evgeny provided advice on financial and commercial structuring of the Russian toll road and airport concessions (Moscow-St. Petersburg and CKAD, Pulkovo), advice on the acquisition of a stake in a regional Russian airport, worked with a consortium bidding for a Yanino waste plant concession in St. Petersburg, provided advice to Russian Railways on financial structuring of the HSR link between Moscow and St. Petersburg, and advised the sponsors on the financing of a CCGT power plant.

Vladimir YAKUNIN

Graduated from the Leningrad Institute of Mechanics as a Mechanical Engineer in 1972 and began his career as a junior research scientist at the State Institute of Applied Chemistry.
After completing military service in the Soviet Army, he worked as an engineer and senior engineer at the Administration of the State Committee of the Council of Ministers of the USSR for Foreign Trade and was also head of department at the A. F. Yoffe Physics and Technical Institute of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR.  From 1985 through 1991 he was Second and then First Secretary of the USSR’s Permanent Representative Office at the United Nations. He was then Chairman of the Board at the International Centre for Business Cooperation before becoming head of the North-Western Federal District Inspectorate of the Senior Control Department of the President of the Russian Federation. Since October 2000 - Deputy Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation. Since February 2002 - First Deputy Minister of Railway Transport of the Russian Federation.
Since October 2003, the Board of Russian Railways unanimously appointed Yakunin First Vice-President of the Company. Vladimir Yakunin was appointed president of Russian Railways by the Government of the Russian Federation in June 2005.

Erkin ZHUSANBAYEV

From 1998 to 2002 worked as chief specialist of the analytical centre, head of department of marketing and analysis, head of department of restructuring and internal consultation, head of analytical centre of RSE “Kazakhstan temir zholy”. From 2002 to 2007 - director on projects of BAS program of the European bank of reconstruction and development, director of department for regulation and control in the sphere of railway transportation of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan on regulation of natural monopolies, adviser on tariff policy of President of Kazakhstan Railways. Since 2008 he works in Kazakhstan Railways as managing director on corporate development.
