Tikhvin Freight Car Building Plant

Tikhvin Freight Car Building Plant is the largest industrial facility under construction in Europe in machine building industry.

The knowledge-intensive and high-technology project is being carried out with the assistance of the ICT Group of companies. Annual capacity is 13,000 railcars, 65,000 wheel sets, and 90,000t of steel castings. The total investment exceeds US$1 bn. Commercial production will be launched in 2011.
